I have played sports for almost my entire life. Outside of soccer, CrossFit is the only thing other than soccer that I've stuck with for longer than 3 years. CrossFit is humbling, no matter how good you get at it, and that's what I love about it.
I injured my back in a soccer game in 1994. The injury finally came to a head in 2015 and I needed surgery to repair it. I was concerned I would never be able to lift/CrossFit again. But I took my time coming back and built my strength slowly, and now I am able to do just about everything I could do before surgery.
I love helping people see something inside themselves they didn't know was there. Nothing gets me quite as fired up as watching the self-doubt fade away!
